Where does a Calvinistic, homiletically expositional, continuationist (vs. cessationist), paedobaptist, amillennial, loud-bands-on-Sunday-morning, not-cool-enough-for-Acts-29 seminarian serve as pastor?
E - Acts 29 is an interdenominational church planting network anchored around 3 convictions: Reformed soteriology, male eldership, and cultural engagement. Mostly 20-35 year olds. Mark Driscoll in Seattle started it. You can see my link to it on the main pg. I respect them very much and it would be an honor to partner with them, but I have a few hesitations still about them; plus, my natural gifting does not line up well w/ starting-from-scratch church planting...
If all I ever accomplish in life is two things, one, to know and praise Christ, and two, to love your mother and to have raised you amazing, astounding, exciting young people, my life will have been a smashing success.

Maybe the Vineyard? Except they do infant dedications, not infant baptisms.
Are you describing yourself?
Bedside Baptist?? :)
I don't know. But wherever that church is, I want to go and I want you to be my pastor!
Dad
Dane - What does "Acts 29" mean? Boy, do I feel old - I don't know any of the cool catch phrases any more!
My advice is just to go liberal - or go be a right-winger in a liberal context. They're liberals, you can do anything!

I like the liberal idea a bit better...
well, as I see it, there is only one solution - convert to credo-baptism and move into Sovereign Grace!!!
Just kidding. You should plant your own church and invite Chris Tomlin to be the worship pastor.

P.S. You will understand, of course, that, in my view, these things are all of grace, not of my own meritorious "accomplishment."
