Radical and Human: Both

C. S. Lewis, 1946 letter:
We must, if it so happens, give our lives for others: but even while we’re doing it, I think we’re meant to enjoy Our Lord and, in Him, our friends, our food, our sleep, our jokes, and the birds' song and the frosty sunrise.”
--The Collected Letters of C. S. Lewis, 2:748

Radical...I do think we tend to see it that way. But I wonder...if such a stance isn't simply more fully embracing reality. That is...becoming more substantive and at rest...In Christ.
