Beasts in the Bible

Genesis 1-2 - Adam in Eden with authority the beasts

Genesis 6-9 - Noah in the ark with authority over the beasts

Isaiah 65 - a vision of the new earth shows the beasts at peace with one another

Daniel 7 - the Son of Man given authority over the (4) beasts

Zephaniah 2 - godless nations become the haunts of wild beasts

Mark 1 - Jesus in the wilderness hanging with the beasts

Revelation 13 - the ultimate Beast wreaks havoc

Revelation 19 - this Beast conquered by . . . a Lamb

and, of course, we can't forget what is perhaps the most noble of moments for the post-fall beasts in the Bible: the beasts of Nineveh were covered with sackcloth (Jonah 3:8).

God pities the beasts of this city, for Nineveh has 12,000 people and "also much cattle" (Jonah 4:11).
