Pink: Doctrine

I enjoyed discovering this while perusing a newly acquired copy of A. W. Pink's The Sovereignty of God:

“It is by doctrine (through the power of the Spirit) that believers are nourished and edified, and where doctrine is neglected, growth in grace and effective witnessing for Christ necessarily cease. . . . [D]octrine is the very base of the practical life.”
