I am thankful for the brutal candor of this prophetic utterance (from the world!), with its implied provocation to our consciences.
That was very powerful. It breaks my heart to think of the uncertainty and fear that man had, and it breaks my heart even more to see the utter failure of that woman to address it as she should have. Even though that was just a movie clip, I found myself praying that someone would proclaim the gospel to that man. That clip reminds me of how perceptive and thoughtful non-believers can be about ultimate questions. It also reminds of how beautiful the gospel truly is, and how horrible a thing it is when we water it down. Take out unpopular doctrines like hell and penal substitution, and you take out the ability to give certain, bold answers to that man. Gulp. Thanks for posting that.
